This Privacy Policy explains how Mentu Tasks & Notes (“Mentu”, “the App”) by Jabez Software, LLC (“we”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.
1) Information We Collect
- Account Information: verified email address and optional display name.
- Content You Add: tasks and notes are stored locally on your device. Images you attach may be uploaded to our secure storage for use within the App.
- Preferences: language, reminder settings, Do Not Disturb windows, and selected workdays.
- Subscription Status: information necessary to determine Premium access.
- Device Data: OS/platform, app version, and notification token. We do not collect advertising identifiers for tracking.
2) How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the core functions of the App.
- To authenticate users and secure sessions.
- To enable Premium features and verify subscription status.
- To send notifications you have enabled, respecting your Do Not Disturb preferences.
3) Data Storage and Retention
- Tasks and notes are saved in your device's local database.
- Images and subscription records stored on our servers are retained as long as your account remains active.
4) Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with providers only to operate the App:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: for in-app purchases and billing.
- Firebase (Google): for authentication, secure image storage, and notifications.
- Expo: for notification delivery.
5) Your Rights and Choices
- Access, Correction, and Deletion: you can use Settings > Delete Account in the App to permanently remove your data from the server.
- Notifications: you can disable them in your device or App settings.
